Sexy Wax!

Helloooooooooooooooo Lovelies! It has been a long while! Happy New Year, by-the-way!  I have had some time to sort out my business and the turns it was taking, good and bad. I also had to reevaluate and rearrange ME! But, I am back and in full effect, as they say!

So, for Christmas, my sister hits the nail on the head MAJORLY! She is a mini-me and we almost share the same birthday, exactly ten years and two days apart! She got me a goodie-bag of sorts, which I ADORE! Little things, here and there that you just love and can really use.  I am big on giving gifts that keep on giving!

I had a few things in my goodie gift bag, but one thing stood out...the best candle I have ever received in my life!  Mainly because it smells amazing and it will be a container I can use again, long after the candle has burned down to the final layer of wax.  This is a high end candle, with bougie tendencies...lol! But, it is ever so SEXY!

The name of the company is Voluspa.  They started up in 1999 and have been going strong, selling in stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Fred Segal and Anthropologie, just to do a little name-dropping. ;)  There are quite a few different products that they offer, including a luxurious shea butter soap in several lovely fragrances as well as room diffusers.  There are several collections of candles, but my candle fell under the Maison Noir line and the scent my sister chose for me, is Crisp Champagne.  AWESOMELY AMAZING! The scent is truly like a fine, crisp and bubbly Prosecco.  I am in love with this candle and you can't just buy it anywhere, you must search and uncover the places that sell it.

I took a long, hot bubble bath and burned this candle, no other lights on in the bathroom...and it was divine!  Every now and then, you have to treat yourself to something nice, like a spa day with your best girlfriends or time with the fellas, no ladies allowed...lol!  Cater to yourself every now and then and know that you deserve it.

This candle is not housed in just any container, it is encased in a ceramic cylinder. It is great to save for future use as a vase, or maybe a fancy place for keeping spare change.  Whatever you decide, you will ration the burning of this candle, because you will love it so much and you will be hooked!  It burns very slow and completely clean, meaning there is none of that black soot that comes up from the wick and it is made of a high end coconut wax.  Once you peruse around Voluspa's website, you will see how unique Voluspa is, even down to the names of candle fragrances.  Just to name a few: Japanese Plum Bloom, Snow Flakes, Frost Pinecone, Makassar Ebony and Peach...the list goes on and on.

If you want a little luxe in your life, do yourself a favor, seek out and purchase one of these candles.  I promise, you will not be disappointed! ;)
