SPAM BLOCKING!

The following Facebook post from my friend Safiya summed it up perfectly!  I am posting it EXACTLY the way she did...no editing!

I was always the type of person to downplay and not showcase what I was capable of doing.  The problem with hiding your true talents is that you could be blocking a blessing that is in store for you.  Folks are always going to have something to say about you and try to chip away at your character.  They will strive to tear you down and be the hater, sometimes even disguising themselves as a friend in your corner.  So, I have decided, haters are like SPAM.  They need not exist and will continuously be deleted and blocked!  There is NO MORE time to waste on folks who do not appreciate your generosity, work and talents!  Give of your soul, spirit and self, the way God wants you to and quite frankly, the way it is SUPPOSED to be! 

"I tell you smh. I'm tired of down playing my joy when I've booked a major gig because those who didn't get picked are exhibiting hateful and jealous behavior. From now on I'm doing cartwheels & somersaults! Haters better back up or get a concussion. Only haters need their egos stroked when someone else succeeds. Call me crazy but I am genuinely happy when people succeed, even if it means I miss out. This is why when one door closes for me, an even bigger one opens. And a truly ambitious person doesn't hate, they watch, learn and ask questions. Only a fool wastes energy hating when they can be finding out "how can I have that"!

Stop worrying about who got booked for what and be happy for other people's successes. Maybe you didn't get this job because there is something else in store for you. Or because your attitude stinks. Who knows lol! But for real, you're busy worrying about why Safiya got picked and you didn't and your blessing is passing right by you. Your negativity is blocking your blessing. Be hopeful. Be diligent. Be positive.

I'm going to stay winning even when it appears that I have lost because I count it all joy. So haters better get ya ear plugs cuz God has amazing things in store for me and there's gonna be some shouting goin on! lllooooollll!"
