I Didn't Know My Own Strength...

I just came back from seeing I Can Do Bad All By Myself (a wonderful movie by Tyler Perry). IT WAS AMAAAAAZING! I actually went by myself...something that I needed to do. We all need to do that from time-to-time, take in a movie on your own...walk by the lake, on your own...take a drive, on your own...It is inspiring to hear your thoughts without outside distractions. I almost feel that some folks are scared to think, so they drown themselves in the everyday noise of the world. I love a REALLY good movie and this was one of them! And please...when you go to a Tyler Perry movie...don't bring negative people with you...bring positive, uplifting, mature, fun folks along who will actually GET IT.

Folks keep talking about Mr. Perry's movies as if the crazy and zany Madea is all there is to see! In Mr. Perry's movies there always lies a message...ALWAYS...just don't be laughing so hard that you miss it! I laughed, I cried, I got mad and laughed some more!!!  PLEASE support this movie! I don't care what background you come from, you will appreciate it!  You will be brought up and down emotionally...you will even get a little "church" before it's all over...LOL!  Don't miss this film...the message is URGENT!

*My Thanks*
If you ever read this Mr. Perry, THANK YOU!!! You are a SPECIAL gift from God and I am SERIOUS about that! There is a reason why you are here and do what you do! I wish nothing but success for you and all the endeavors you set your brilliant mind to! I also look forward to the new movie Precious, coming out November 6th!

Seeing this wonderful film, also led me to post this clip of the incomparable Whitney Houston. I know most of us have seen her recent two-part interview on Oprah and you haven't, please do! This woman has risen from the ashes into a phoenix! Her story mirrors Mr. Perry's movie to a tee! The words of her new song, speak volumes to anyone that will actually listen...Enjoy and always Stay Lovely!
